Managing Your Subscription

Learn how to upgrade, downgrade, cancel, or modify your Influgen subscription.

Accessing Billing Settings​

  1. Click your profile icon in the top-right corner
  2. Select Billing & Subscription
  3. You'll be redirected to the Stripe Customer Portal

All subscription changes are managed through Stripe's secure portal.

Upgrading Your Plan​

To upgrade to a higher tier:

  1. Go to Billing & Subscription
  2. Click Update Plan
  3. Select your new plan (Growth or Agency)
  4. Confirm the change

What happens when you upgrade:

  • Your new credit allocation applies immediately
  • You're charged a prorated amount for the remainder of the billing period
  • Any unused credits from your previous plan are added to your new balance

Example: If you upgrade from Starter (50 credits) to Growth (200 credits) mid-month, you'll immediately receive the full 200 credits plus any unused Starter credits.

Downgrading Your Plan​

To move to a lower tier:

  1. Go to Billing & Subscription
  2. Click Update Plan
  3. Select a lower-tier plan
  4. Confirm the change

What happens when you downgrade:

  • The change takes effect at the end of your current billing period
  • You keep your current credits until the period ends
  • Your new credit allocation starts on your next billing date
  • Any credit packs you purchased remain available

Important: If you have more active characters than your new plan allows, you'll need to archive characters before the downgrade takes effect.

Switching to Annual Billing​

Annual plans save you 20% compared to monthly billing.

To switch:

  1. Go to Billing & Subscription
  2. Click Switch to Annual
  3. Review the annual pricing
  4. Confirm the switch

What happens:

  • Your monthly plan is canceled immediately
  • You're charged the full annual amount
  • Your credits reset to the annual allocation
  • Your billing date changes to the annual renewal date

Canceling Your Subscription​

To cancel:

  1. Go to Billing & Subscription
  2. Scroll to Cancel Subscription
  3. Select a reason (helps us improve)
  4. Confirm cancellation

What happens when you cancel:

  • Your subscription remains active until the end of the current billing period
  • You keep access to all features and credits until then
  • Your characters and content remain accessible
  • After the period ends, your account moves to the free tier with limited access

Free tier limitations:

  • Read-only access to existing characters
  • No new content generation
  • No new characters
  • Export options remain available

Reactivating a Canceled Subscription​

Changed your mind? You can reactivate anytime:

  1. Go to Billing & Subscription
  2. Click Reactivate Subscription
  3. Select your plan
  4. Enter payment details if needed

Your data is never deletedβ€”just reactivate and pick up where you left off.

Refund Policy​

Credit packs: No refunds on purchased credit packs, as credits are consumed immediately upon generation.

Monthly subscriptions: Refunds are handled on a case-by-case basis within 7 days of purchase. Contact support@influgen.ai with your request.

Annual subscriptions: Prorated refunds available within 30 days of purchase if no credits have been consumed.

Disputes: If you believe you were charged incorrectly, contact support immediately at support@influgen.ai.

Payment Methods​

We accept:

  • All major credit cards (Visa, Mastercard, Amex, Discover)
  • Debit cards
  • Apple Pay / Google Pay (where available)

Payment processing is handled securely by Stripe. Influgen never stores your payment details.

Updating Payment Information​

To update your card:

  1. Go to Billing & Subscription
  2. Click Payment Methods
  3. Add a new card or update the existing one
  4. Set it as your default payment method

Failed payments:

  • You'll receive an email if a payment fails
  • We'll retry the charge automatically after 3 days
  • After 3 failed attempts, your account will be downgraded to the free tier

Billing History & Invoices​

To access past invoices:

  1. Go to Billing & Subscription
  2. Click Invoices
  3. Download PDFs for your records

Invoices are also emailed to your account email address after each successful charge.
