Credits System
Credits are the currency of Influgen. Every action that generates AI content costs credits.

Credits reset on your monthly billing date. Unused credits do not roll over on the free plan. On paid plans, you can purchase additional credit packs.

Upgrading Your Plan
You can upgrade anytime:
- Go to Settings → Billing
- Click Upgrade Plan
- Select your new plan
- Complete payment via Stripe
- New plan activates immediately
Proration: When upgrading mid-cycle, you're charged a prorated amount for the remainder of the billing period.
Downgrading Your Plan
You can downgrade at any time, effective at the end of the current billing period:
- Go to Settings → Billing
- Click Change Plan
- Select lower plan
- Confirm downgrade
Important: If downgrading puts you over character limits (e.g., Growth → Starter), you'll need to archive characters first.

Can I change plans anytime?
Yes. Upgrades take effect immediately; downgrades at next billing cycle.
What happens when credits run out?
Content generation pauses. You can purchase additional credits or wait for the monthly reset.
Do credits roll over?
On paid plans, up to 25% of unused credits roll over. Starter plan credits don't roll over.
Is there a free trial for paid plans?
Growth plan includes a 7-day free trial for new users. No credit card required.
Can I pause my subscription?
Not currently. You can cancel and resubscribe when ready.
