General​

What is Influgen?​

Influgen is an AI-powered platform for creating and managing virtual influencer characters. Generate consistent AI personas with unique faces, then produce social media content (images, videos, captions) at scale—all with a unified visual identity.

Perfect for:

Do I need technical skills to use Influgen?​

No. Influgen is designed for non-technical users. If you can describe what you want in plain English, you can create content.

No coding, no prompt engineering expertise, no AI knowledge required.

Can I use Influgen for free?​

Yes! New accounts get 50 free credits to explore all features. This is enough to:

  • Create your first character (5 credits)
  • Generate 15 sample images (45 credits)
  • Or produce 5 videos with captions (45 credits)

After that, paid plans start at $19/month.

What makes Influgen different from Midjourney or DALL-E?​

Face consistency. Tools like Midjourney generate beautiful images, but every prompt creates a different person. Influgen locks a character's face across all generations, so your virtual influencer looks like the same person in every post.

Think of it as a photoshoot with an AI model who always shows up looking identical.

How much does Influgen cost?​

Monthly Plans:

  • Starter: $19/mo — 1 character, 50 credits/month
  • Growth: $49/mo — 3 characters, 200 credits/month
  • Agency: $99/mo — 10 characters, 500 credits/month

Annual Plans (20% discount):

  • Starter: $182/year (save $46)
  • Growth: $470/year (save $118)
  • Agency: $950/year (save $238)

Credit Packs (one-time purchases that never expire):

  • 100 credits: $9
  • 250 credits: $20
  • 500 credits: $35
  • 1000 credits: $60

What are credits and how do they work?​

Credits are consumed when you generate AI content:

  • Face generation: 5 credits
  • Sample image: 3 credits
  • Video generation: 8 credits
  • Caption generation: 1 credit

Monthly credits reset on your billing date and do not roll over. Credit pack purchases never expire.

Can I cancel anytime?​

Yes. Cancel anytime from the Billing & Subscription page. Your subscription remains active until the end of your current billing period, then moves to the free tier (read-only access).

Your data is never deleted—you can reactivate anytime.

Do you offer refunds?​

  • Credit packs: No refunds (consumed immediately)
  • Monthly plans: Case-by-case within 7 days of purchase
  • Annual plans: Prorated refunds within 30 days if no credits consumed

Characters & Content​

How does face consistency work?​

When you create a character, Influgen generates a unique AI face and stores its "identity vector" (a mathematical fingerprint). Every future image of that character uses this vector to ensure the same face appears.

This is why face generation costs 5 credits—it's a more complex operation than single-image generation.

Can I upload my own face or use a real person?​

No. For legal and ethical reasons, Influgen only generates synthetic faces. You cannot upload photos of real people or celebrities.

All faces are 100% AI-generated and do not resemble any real individual.

How many images can I generate per character?​

Unlimited (as long as you have credits). Once a character is created, you can generate as much content as you want within your credit allocation.

Example (Growth plan, 200 credits/month):

  • ~66 sample images, or
  • ~25 videos, or
  • ~200 captions, or
  • Any combination totaling 200 credits

Can I edit generated images?​

Not directly within Influgen (yet). You can:

  • Download images and edit them in Photoshop, Canva, etc.
  • Regenerate with different prompts
  • Use inpainting tools like Photoshop's Generative Fill

Native editing features are on our roadmap.

What video formats are supported?​

Influgen generates:

  • MP4 format (H.264 codec)
  • 1080x1920 resolution (vertical, optimized for TikTok/Reels/Shorts)
  • Up to 60 seconds in length
  • No watermarks on paid plans

Content Ownership & Usage Rights​

Who owns the generated content?​

You do. All images, videos, and captions generated through Influgen are yours to use commercially, with no attribution required.

This applies to all plans, including the free tier.

Can I use Influgen content for commercial purposes?​

Yes. You can:

  • Post to social media (Instagram, TikTok, YouTube, etc.)
  • Use in advertising campaigns
  • Sell products featuring the character
  • License content to clients

Exception: You cannot claim the content was created by a real person or misrepresent it as non-AI-generated where disclosure is legally required (e.g., political ads in certain jurisdictions).

Do I need to disclose that my influencer is AI-generated?​

Legally: Depends on your jurisdiction. Some regions require AI disclosure for ads or sponsored content.

Ethically: We recommend transparency. Many successful AI influencers openly share their synthetic nature—it's often part of the appeal.

Technical & API​

Does Influgen have an API?​

Not yet. API access is on our roadmap for Q3 2026, likely tied to Agency plan or higher tiers.

What AI models power Influgen?​

We use a combination of:

  • Stable Diffusion XL (image generation)
  • Custom face-consistency models (identity preservation)
  • GPT-4 (caption generation)
  • Proprietary video synthesis (short-form video)

Models are continually updated to improve quality and speed.

Can I integrate Influgen with my social media scheduling tools?​

Not directly (yet). Current workflow:

  1. Generate content in Influgen
  2. Download to your device
  3. Upload to your scheduling tool (Buffer, Hootsuite, Later, etc.)

Native integrations are planned for late 2026.

Data & Privacy​

What data do you collect?​

We collect:

  • Account info: Email, name (optional), billing details (via Stripe)
  • Usage data: Characters created, credits consumed, generation history
  • Analytics: Page views, feature usage (anonymized)

We do not collect:

  • Personal photos (you can't upload them anyway)
  • Social media passwords
  • Content from your accounts

Is my data secure?​

Yes. We use:

  • AES-256 encryption for data at rest
  • TLS 1.3 for data in transit
  • SOC 2 Type II compliant hosting (AWS)
  • Stripe for payments (PCI-DSS Level 1 certified)

We never store payment details—Stripe handles all transactions securely.

Can I delete my account and data?​

Yes. Contact support@influgen.ai with a deletion request. We'll:

  1. Deactivate your account within 24 hours
  2. Delete all generated content and characters within 7 days
  3. Anonymize billing records (required by law to retain for 7 years)

This action is permanent and irreversible.

Limitations: We block NSFW content, political deepfakes, and deceptive use cases.

Can I create multiple characters for different niches?​

Yes! Plan limits:

  • Starter: 1 character
  • Growth: 3 characters
  • Agency: 10 characters

Each character has its own face, style, and content queue. Perfect for agencies managing multiple clients or creators testing different personas.

Can I create a virtual brand mascot?​

Absolutely. Many users create:

  • Brand ambassadors (e.g., a virtual barista for a coffee shop)
  • Product mascots (e.g., a fitness coach for a supplement brand)
  • Educational personas (e.g., a virtual teacher for online courses)

These work like standard characters—just adjust the style and tone to match your brand.

Platform Support​

Which social platforms work best with Influgen?​

Best for:

  • Instagram (Reels, Stories, Feed posts)
  • TikTok (vertical video optimized)
  • YouTube Shorts
  • Twitter/X (image posts)

Decent for:

  • LinkedIn (professional personas)
  • Pinterest (lifestyle content)

Not ideal:

  • Facebook (strict AI disclosure policies; risk of removal)

Always check platform policies on synthetic media before posting.

Will my AI influencer get banned?​

Unlikely, if you:

  1. Disclose AI generation when required by platform rules
  2. Don't impersonate real people
  3. Follow community guidelines (no spam, hate speech, etc.)
  4. Use authentic engagement (don't buy fake followers)

Instagram and TikTok have large communities of openly AI-generated influencers. Transparency is key.
