Creating Characters

Characters are the heart of Influgen. Each character represents a unique AI influencer with their own face, personality, and content style.

Character Basics​

A character in Influgen includes:

  • Name - Their identity and Instagram handle
  • Niche - Content category (fitness, fashion, lifestyle, etc.)
  • Face - Photorealistic AI-generated appearance
  • Personality - Tone, voice, and content style
  • Settings - Autopilot, posting frequency, language preferences

How Many Characters Can You Create?​

Character limits depend on your plan:

  • Starter - 1 character
  • Growth - 5 characters
  • Agency - 25 characters

You can upgrade your plan anytime to create more characters.

Choosing Your Niche​

Your character's niche determines the type of content they'll create and who they'll attract.

Available Niches​

Fitness​

Content about workouts, healthy eating, gym motivation, and physical wellness. Great for targeting health-conscious audiences.

Example content: Workout routines, meal prep, fitness tips, transformation posts

Fashion​

Style inspiration, outfit coordination, trends, and clothing recommendations. Perfect for brand partnerships.

Example content: OOTD posts, seasonal trends, styling tips, fashion hauls

Lifestyle​

Broad appeal content covering daily life, wellness, productivity, and personal development.

Example content: Morning routines, productivity tips, self-care, life advice

Travel​

Destinations, adventures, travel tips, and wanderlust inspiration. Ideal for tourism and hospitality brands.

Example content: Destination guides, travel photography, trip planning, hotel reviews

Beauty​

Makeup tutorials, skincare routines, product reviews, and beauty trends.

Food​

Recipes, restaurant reviews, food photography, and culinary adventures.

Technology​

Gadgets, software, tech reviews, and digital lifestyle content.

Niche Selection Tips​

  • Start with one niche you understand well
  • Consider audience size - some niches are more saturated than others
  • Think about monetization potential - which niches have good brand partnerships?
  • Match your personal interests - you'll create better content in areas you care about

AI Profile Generation​

When you create a character, Influgen automatically generates:

Based on your chosen niche, the AI determines:

While the AI generates a default profile, you can customize:

  • Instagram handle (if connecting to Instagram)

  • Emoji usage (none, minimal, moderate, heavy)

Advanced Settings (Pro Plans)​

  • Custom prompt templates

Managing Multiple Characters​

If you have multiple characters:

Organization Tips​

  • Use descriptive names (e.g., "FitnessEmily" vs "Character1")
  • Set different niches for each to avoid content overlap
  • Schedule content at different times to manage workload
  • Track which characters perform best

Switching Between Characters​

  1. Click the character selector in the top navigation
  2. Choose the character you want to work with
  3. All content generation and settings apply to that character

Character Archive​

Don't need a character anymore?

  • Archive it to free up a slot (keeps all data)
  • Delete permanently (cannot be undone)

Do:​
